Cultural Carnival Students of Sadeeqa’s Learning System (SLS) Montessori and High school, Junior Section Lalazar held a great Cultural Carnival for peace and development, says a press release. Starting with the quote of Quaid – e – Azam the special show began consisting of different medleys, cultural performances, short skits and the students showed diversity one by one on the stage. In the first performance the students dressed up in traditional attires exhibited different regions of Pakistan on a medley of Folk Music. Performances of Chinese, Indian and Kashmir Valley presented Asian Art beautifully as the students were dressed up in bright shades of red and traditional dresses of India. The next part was the European Art in which Polish, Turkish and German Movements showed their cultures and lifestyles. Students of Sadeeqa’s Learning System (SLS) Montessori and High School, Advanced Montessori and class one Harley Street held a special morning assembly on English Language Day, says a press release. The half an hour assembly was amazing having performances of different sections of class, one about the English Day and its importance in an effective way. On stage one by one performances were performed which included short poems, a short skit and dance. Firstly the children came one by one giving information on English Day, when and where it is celebrated. The next was a short skit in which some students showed they bought a laptop and it was in English, thus the kids who did not know English could not operate the laptop. The children dressed up as bee, caterpillar and bird performed on their poem from their English book. Another performance was a poem in which children dressed up as strawberries.
