FEMALE EDUCATION
“Education for all is the slogan of this modern age.”
Today we live in a world where education has become compulsory for every one that no one can imagine living without getting knowledge in this world of competition and race. When we talk about education then it is very necessary to talk about women's education. Women education is overly compulsory in this mechanical age. If we go back in history, we see our religion Islam has emphasized on getting education and there is no discrimination in this regard. Our holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) said that it is the obligation of every Muslim to get knowledge.
In history there are many examples about women rights and education. Brigham Young who was an American Leader said,” You educate a man; you educate a man, you educate a woman; you educate a generation”.
Now women are working everywhere and standing par with men. They have shown their abilities in every field of the world. They are speeding at the road of progress with swift pace. An educated woman has the power to reform a nation. She can lay a sustainable foundation for the nation. She is independent, keen, innovative, productive and enriched with many other qualities.
An educated woman is empowered. She makes her mark on the world. She is a respectable woman. She has the power to make people listen to her and the charisma that makes people follow her. An educated woman cannot become a financial burden on her family. She deals with the problems cool heartedly and uses her common sense to decide complex issues. She can prove a better daughter, better wife and better mother. She can raise and grow fruitful seeds for the nation. She can be the best at every relationship. She can understand the religious, social, financial, and familiar issues well and confront all of them.
Pakistan has the most talented women in the world. They have succeeded and have shown excellence in every field. Women like Asma Jahangir, Bilquis Edhi, Zubaida Jalal, Jehan Ara, Sabeen Mehmood and many other eminent names are a source of inspiration for us and our future generation. Our prestigious Pakistan Army has young enthusiastic women who are risk takers and are ready to face the challenges. They are good motivation for all of us.
An educated woman has an important share in the economy of a country. If women do not work, half of the population of the country does not work and takes part in nation building. For the progress of any nation it is important that each and every individual works for it. To educate women means to have a productive and developed country. Half of the economy of the nation is dependent on women.
Without educating women a nation cannot dream of becoming a developed nation but our rural areas are still undeveloped. It is our duty to realize this fact and propagate it to our fellows, if we want to become a proud nation of the world.
